I am a professionally trained Celebrant living in Hampshire. I primarily serve Hampshire, and areas of Dorset and West Sussex, stretching north past the ancient Cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, along the southern coast, southwest to the New Forest and Dorset, and southeast to the depths of the south Downs.
Originally from California, I have made the UK my home since 1999, and I live in south Hampshire with my husband and daughter.
Educated and trained through the UK College of Celebrancy, I hold a current Certificate in Wedding and Family Celebrancy as well as a current Certificate in Funeral Celebrancy. I am also a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants assuring that my standards remain high and my integrity is second to none.
I am sensitively aware that the experience of your ceremony or service is in my hands when I am hired as your Celebrant, which is why I am committed that every detail is checked and that I honour your expectations through my high standards for quality and integrity.
My professional background has shaped my talents in the areas of public speaking and communication, mentoring people from all walks of life, freelance writing, event styling and choreography, event design and facilitation and creative theming. All of these skills have proven to be priceless in my role as a successful professional Celebrant.
I have cultivated an understanding and respect for many different cultures and customs; my own family is a blend of multiple cultures, all rich in the tradition of celebration and meaningful rituals.
I have many interests that keep me inspired and enthused about life. I occasionally teach workshops that explore how to live in a more fulfilling, creative way. I have a passion for biographical and story writing, and I enjoy learning about the world's cultures and traditions. I am keen to support my community and at any point in life I can be found volunteering with schools, hospices, and local charities, sometimes alongside my Golden Retriever, a registered therapy dog through 'Pets as Therapy'.
